About Mineral Resources Ltd

Mineral Resources listed on the ASX in 2006 following the merger of three mining services businesses. The subsidiary companies were previously owned by managing director Chris Ellison, who remains a large shareholder despite selling down. Operations include iron ore and lithium mining, iron ore crushing and screening services for third parties, and engineering and construction for mining companies. Mining and contracting activity is focused in Western Australia.

Mr Moorhead is a non-executive director, mining executive with an record over 35 years across the mining sector. His career spans exploration, project development and operational leadership in the gold, copper, mineral sands and rare earths sectors. Most recently he was Executive Chair and Managing Director of Xanadu Mines, a copper and gold explorer with projects in Mongolia. Mr Moorhead also led the development of the Tujuh Bukit gold mine in Indonesia, later being appointed an executive director and then non-executive technical director. Earlier in his career, he spent 28 years at Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) 10 of which as an executive, where he was responsible for global exploration and resource development, mine geology and resources and reserves governance He currently serves as a non-executive director at Ramelius Resources (ASX: RMS), Aeris Resources (ASX: AIS), and VHM Ltd (ASX: VHM). He is a former president of Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), a former director of the Australian Minerals Industry Research Association (AMIRA) and a former ex-officio member of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC).Mr Moorhead will become Chair of the Technical Committee and a member of the Sustainability Committee

Mr Carroll has over 25 years of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and CFO experience across a range of mining, energy and mining services companies, most recently as CEO of Toronto-listed junior miner Commerce Resources. He was CFO at MMG Limited, a Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed global base metals company, from 2015 to 2024. Between 2012 and 2015, he was CEO of Macmahon Holdings (ASX: MAH). He is also a former CFO of Woodside Energy and previously held a positions in finance and business development at BHP for more than 18 years. Mr Carroll assumes the position of Chair of the Ethics and Governance Committee and Risk Committee and Technical Committee.

Mr Ellison is the founder and Managing Director of Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes). He is also the founding shareholder of each of MinRes three original subsidiary companies: Crushing Services International Pty Ltd, PIHA Pty Ltd and Process Minerals International Pty Ltd. With more than 40 years of experience in mining contracting, engineering and resource processing within Australia, his entrepreneurship and industry knowledge has been instrumental in transforming MinRes from a collection of specialist contractors into a leading diversified commodities and mining services business.

Ms Xi has more than 20 years of experience in the global natural resources sector having served as a director of Sailing Capital, a US$2bn private equity fund founded by the Shanghai International Group. She has worked with numerous Chinese state owned and privately owned enterprises, advising on international acquisitions and investments. She has previously served as an analyst and portfolio manager for the Tigris Financial Group (Electrum) in New York, focused on the oil and gas and mining sectors. She has also led and managed several mineral exploration teams in West Africa and Latin America, including the discovery of a new silver lead zinc mine in Mexico.

Mr Bundey is an experienced board director and executive who has led large, complex multinational and private and ASX listed organisations spanning professional services, manufacturing and primary industries and private equity. He is an executive and adviser for an international private equity portfolio and was previously Managing Director and CEO of Pact Group Holdings Ltd. He also held senior executive roles at the Rank Group including President and CEO of global companies, Graham Packaging, Closure Systems International and Evergreen Packaging and was previously a Partner at Deloitte. Professor Hayward is a senior Noongar woman with more than 35 years of experience developing and leading programs to support and empower Aboriginal people in Western Australia. She has held senior appointments at a community, state and national level, spanning health, education, training, employment and law, including at Edith Cowan University where she is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Education. She was awarded the 2008 National NAIDOC Aboriginal Person of the Year Award, the 2006 Premier of Western Australias prestigious Multicultural Ambassadors Award and in 2009 was inducted into the WA Department of Educations Hall of Fame for Achievement in Aboriginal Education. In 2012, she was inducted into the WA Womens Hall of Fame. She is a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia. In 2015, she was awarded one of Murdoch Universitys Distinguished Alumni for her work in the areas of equity and social justice. She is Member of People Committee and Sustainability Committee.
Mr Lawrie Tremaine Non-Executive Director Jul 2025
Mr Tremaine is a finance executive with more than 35 years experience in financial and commercial leadership across the mining, mineral processing, manufacturing, and energy sectors, both in Australia and internationally. Recently, he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Origin Energy (ASX: ORG) for seven years until 2024. He was previously CFO at Woodside Energy (ASX: WDS) for six years. His career also includes 17 years at Alcoa, where he established finance infrastructure across Asia Pacific. Mr Tremaine currently serves as Chair of MoneyCatcha, a private fintech firm. Mr Tremaine becomes Chair of the Sustainability Committee and a member of the Ethics and Governance Committee.
Ms Susan Ferrier Non-Executive Director Oct 2025
Ms Ferrier is a board director and executive with more than 30 years of global experience in human resources leadership, cultural transformation and governance across finance and professional services. Between 2019 and 2023, she was Group Executive for People and Culture at National Australia Bank (ASX: NAB). For the eight years prior, Ms Ferrier held senior global roles with KPMG International, including Global Head of People, Global Head of Inclusion and Diversity, and Australian Managing Partner for People and Culture. Her career also includes 15 years in the United Kingdom in global and regional roles for financial services organisations including HSBC, Deutsche Bank and ING. Ms Ferrier currently serves as co-Chair of Jawun, a non-profit organisation supporting economic and social development in Indigenous communities. She is also a board member of Airservices Australia and Sydney Symphony Orchestra, where she chairs their respective Remuneration Committees, and serves on the People and Culture Committee at the University of Sydney.Ms Ferrier will become Chair of the People Committee.
