About HomeCo Daily Needs REIT

HomeCo Daily Needs REIT is a listed investment trust established and managed by HMC Capital, an ASX-listed alternative asset manager. HMC receives fees from HomeCo in exchange for property, investment, and development management services, and retains a minority interest in the REIT. HomeCo focuses on convenience-based assets that offer everyday goods and services, such as supermarkets, liquor stores, pharmacies, childcare, government and general services. Its portfolio also has a significant weighting to large format retail-a subsector that specializes in furniture, electrical appliances, and other homemaker offerings. Majority of HomeCo's leases has fixed annual rate increases, and a smaller proportion are inflation-linked, with the rest commensurate with supermarket turnover.

Mr Fried worked closely with David Di Pilla and the team who founded and established the consortium to acquire the group in 2016. Zac is the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Spotlight Group ('SGH'). SGH also controls one of Australia's privately-owned property portfolios, Spotlight Property Group, and operates a family office engaged in investment and philanthropic activities. With over 13,000 employees and 300 retail outlets across four countries. Zac's focus at SGH includes the oversight of SGH's property development and leasing portfolio. He has over 30 years of retail and property industry experience and a record of site identification and property value creation.

Mr Tuxen was the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Westfield Corporation from 2002 to 2018. Prior to joining Westfield Corporation in 2002, he was the General Counsel of BIL International Limited in Singapore, Group Legal Manager of the Jardine Matheson Group in Hong Kong and a partner with Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons) from 1987 to 1996. Simon is a Non-Executive Director of Racing New South Wales. He is a Member of the Risk Committee.

Ms Stubbs is a board director working across several companies including Brickworks Limited. She is a Non-Executive Director of Ranfurlie Asset Management. She also provides executive coaching services to a range of corporate clients via the Stephenson Mansell Group. Robyn enjoyed a 25 plus-year career as a senior executive in many organizations. She spent 8 years with Stockland as a General Manager, her last role heading up retail leasing across a portfolio of 40 shopping centers nationally.

Mr Pilla led the team that founded the consortium which led to the establishment of HMC Capital in 2016. Since this time, the HMC Group has grown from its initial Masters portfolio to today being a diversified alternative asset manager with assets under management of approximately $18.5 billion. David has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, strategic advisory & consulting and corporate leadership as a Director and CEO. During his 20-year investment banking career, David was Managing Director of UBS Investment Bank for over 15 years and during this time led some of Australia's transactions across corporate M&A, Equity & Debt Capital Markets. Prior to his time at UBS, David reached the position of Vice President, Investment Banking at JP Morgan.

Mr Shakesheff has over 30 years of experience in the finance and real estate industry including 19 years as an equities analyst covering listed real estate and retail companies at Macquarie Bank and JP Morgan, and a further six years as a corporate advisor to major real estate groups, at UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Simon is currently the chair of Kiwi Property Group, and a Non-Executive Director of Cbus Property, Assembly Funds Management, St George Community Housing. He is a Member of the Risk Committee.
