Mr Ellis was the Chief Executive Officer of listed company Waste Management NZ for 13 years, until its sale in 2006. Kim currently chairs the Boards of Green Cross Health, New Zealand Social Infrastructure Fund and Metlifecare Limited. Kim also holds directorships in Freightways, Ballance Agri-Nutrients and the Port of Tauranga.

Mr Shewan currently chairs the Boards of Munich Reinsurance Australasia and Wellington Regional Stadium Trust. He is a Director of China Construction Bank (New Zealand) Limited. John is an Adjunct Professor in the Business School at Victoria University.

Ms Daly is a director with a range of experience across a number of industries. Her executive background is in banking and finance in a variety of roles both in New Zealand and the UK. Mary-Jane is the Chair of AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited and Partners Life Limited and an Independent Director of Kiwibank Limited. Previous governance roles have included Cigna Life Insurance New Zealand, the Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tu Ake, OnePath Life, Airways Corporation, Auckland Transport, the NZ Green Building Council and Kiwi Property Group Limited. Mr Field is based in Australia and has 30 years of experience in the mining, metals, manufacturing and logistics sectors. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of BlueScope Steel Limited and Alcoa Corporation and previously served on the board of Alumina Limited, which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcoa Corporation. Prior to commencing his governance career, Mr Field held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of ASX-listed Sims Limited, based in the United States and Australia. Prior to joining Sims Limited, he held a number of senior leadership positions including as Director of the Patrick Terminal & Logistics division of Asciano Limited and as Chief Operating Officer of Rio Tintos Bauxite and Alumina Division.

Ms Eve has over 25 years' experience in financial markets and the corporate sector. She has held executive roles across equity research, investment banking, investor relations, corporate strategy and funds management. Carlie is currently a director of Kiwi Property Group Limited, Chair of the Diocesan School Heritage Foundation and was previously a Director of Hobsonville Land Company Limited.

Mr Hercus, after 29 years retired as a Partner at Buddle Findlay, a corporate law firm and is now a Consultant to the firm. This followed an earlier career as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He has professional experience working with co- operatives and primary sector businesses, and in corporate governance and economic regulation. He is an experienced director in the co operative and mutual sector. He is a former Deputy Chair of the Medical Assurance Society and is currently Chair of Co operative Life Limited. In the public sector he is a Commissioner at the Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tu Ake, a Director of Invercargill Airport Limited and Chair of the Risk & Advisory Committee at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
